Now I am trying to translate DHC translation competition article. In
that article (p5 the second paragraph from the bottom) there is a
sentence saying that "Cal phoned his agent. He was in a meeting.
His
secretary said he would ring back. Cal stared at the print of 'The
Haywain' on the wall..." Does anybody have any idea about what 'The
Haywain' is? I have been asking this for everybody but nobody could
be
answered answered my question. Then I wondered if someone know the
answer here. If do please let me know.

p.s. Since I am workng on base I have English application only.
So plese write to me in English.

"The Haywain" or "The Hay Wain" is the title of a painting by John
Constable (1776-1837). He was a leading English landscape painter.

As to what "haywain" means I think you should look up "hay" and
"wain." I hope I'm right.
