現在マレーシアの企業のNDAを和訳中です。そこで、以下の「read
down」の意味、および訳が分かりません。

If any provision is void, illegal or unenforceable but would
be valid and enforceable if read down, then that provision
will be read down to the extent necessary to render the
provision valid and enforceable.
