現在のところネイティブから以下の二つの応答が来ています。内容的には似たようなものです
が、どちらかと言うと1.の方がこの場合適切かと思います。

蛇足ながらpress coverageはpressureに続いて頭に浮かんでいたのですが、イマイチ確信がな
かったので前回は触れませんでした。

1. It is short for "get the press coverage", in other words "get the publicity
in the printed media".

2. "Get the press" is a common informal phrase which means "receive favorable
publicity or public comment [by the print media, etc.]".� 'Although file servers may
not get the press Web servers do' means:� "Although file servers are perhaps not
widely publicized as being a good thing to the same degree that web servers are
widely publicized as being a good thing...."

In this phrase, "press" is short for "good press"; we can also speak of something
