金融関係の会社内で、翻訳業務に携わっています。
小規模な会社なので、近くに相談できる人がいないため、
皆様のお知恵を拝借したく、書き込みさせて頂きました。


If there is an undisclosed or unpaid lien,
the attorney is going to require that the lien be paid prior
to finalizing the closing. Assuming there is enough money from
the down payment to do this, the easiest way to do so is for
the closing to take place and for the attorney to "hold back"
from the owner the amount needed to pay the lien.

上記の文で、2文目のthe easiest way以降が
さっぱり分かりません。
どういう意味でしょうか？
