はじめまして。１年半ほど前から、メーカーで簡単な社内文書（主に英訳）を翻訳しています。将来は、専門分野をもち、在宅で翻訳をしていきたいと思い、契約書翻訳の勉強もしているところです。経済関連の記事ででてきた表現なのですが、リストラの内容に関するものです。 X company is understood to be looking at property disposals and the sale of its stake in Y, either to a trade buyer or through flotation, to help reduce its ￡1.1bn debt. 後半の"either to a trade buyer or through flotation"をどう訳したらよいでしょうか？宜しくお願い致します。

記事番号8892へのコメント X company is understood to be looking at property disposals and the sale of its stake in Y, either to a trade buyer or through flotation, to help reduce its ￡1.1bn debt. 後半の"either to a trade buyer or through flotation"をどう訳したらよいでしょうか？ Y社での株式所有stakeを、(ある程度安心できる)商売上の買い手trade buyerに売るか、もし買い手がいなければ、株式公開flotationして不安だが不特定多数の買い手株主に売るか。 flotation すると、ライブドアに買われてひどい目に合うかも知れず。

記事番号8893へのコメントありがとうございます。参考になりました。 trade buyer のほうは、いろいろ考えた結果、「バイヤー」という訳語で逃げてしまいました。
